Protection of personal data
Twins Trade d.o.o. undertakes to protect the personal data of customers and website users by collecting only the data necessary to fulfil our obligations (first name, surname, address, city, postcode, country, mobile phone number and email address). Twins Trade d.o.o. informs customers and users about how the collected data is used and regularly gives them a choice about the use of their data, including whether they wish their name to be removed from lists used for marketing purposes. All user data is kept strictly confidential and is accessible only to persons who need it to perform their work. All employees of Twins Trade d.o.o. are responsible for respecting privacy protection principles.
1. Collection, processing and retention of data for ordering/purchasing an item, withdrawal from a contract, exchanges and complaints
When you order an item from our range, we will ask for your consent to collect, process and retain your personal data and the personal data of other persons whom you identify as recipients of a gift or whose address you provide for delivery. Before providing another person's data, you must ensure that they are familiar with this privacy policy.
1.a. Collection
When you order an item from our range, we will request only the data we need (first name, surname, address, contact number and email) and that is legally required to complete the sale/service, issue an invoice, send the ordered or purchased item and communicate with you if there is a problem with ordering, purchasing, payment or delivery.
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase and request withdrawal from the contract, an exchange or submit a complaint, we will request additional personal data that enables us to process your request in accordance with the law.
1.b. Processing
Your personal data is protected against unauthorised access, disclosure, use, alteration or destruction by any organisation or individual.
1.c. Retention
The personal data you provided in forms on our website, for which you gave consent when creating an account, sending an enquiry or registering your interest, is stored securely and protected by multiple security checks. We must retain personal data necessary to fulfil legal obligations in accordance with applicable legal provisions. All other personal data for which there is no legal retention obligation will be retained until you withdraw your consent.
You can view and edit your personal data in your user account at any time. You may request deletion of personal data that is not subject to our legal retention obligations by emailing cocochoco.croatia@gmail.com. When withdrawing consent, please specify exactly which personal data you wish us to delete from our records.
1.d. Sharing personal data with third parties
By consenting to the collection and processing of personal data for ordering/purchasing an item, you consent to us sharing your personal data with third parties: the accounting office that processes your personal data on the invoice, the supplier we work with and the delivery service used to send the ordered item.
1.e. Withdrawal of consent
You may request deletion of the personal data you have provided at any time by sending a withdrawal of consent to cocochoco.croatia@gmail.com. The personal data provided will be deleted from our records, except for data we are legally required to retain.
2. Collection of data for sending information about new products and website content
By consenting to the collection, processing and storage of personal data for sending information about new products and website content, you consent to us informing you about new products available for purchase. We will occasionally inform you about new products and website activities by email or newsletter sent to the email address you provided in our forms. We will not use your phone number for sales calls. We will contact you by phone only if there is a problem with your order and/or to complete or communicate delivery information.
Data provided for these purposes will not be forwarded to third parties. However, because we use electronic systems to send emails and newsletters, the data will be accessible to third parties operating those systems. We will do everything in our power to protect your personal data using passwords and other security checks and software, but we are not responsible for technical problems in the email and newsletter systems we use that are outside our control. If we identify a failure, we will inform you as soon as possible and take all possible protective measures.
You may request deletion of the personal data you have provided at any time by sending a withdrawal of consent to cocochoco.croatia@gmail.com. The data will be deleted from our records and will no longer be used to inform you about new products or new website content.
3. Collection of data for promotional activities
By consenting to the collection, processing and storage of personal data for promotional activities, you authorise us to use your personal data for that purpose. This means that we will publish the personal data you provided and authorised for this purpose on the website, in promotional materials or in a similar way alongside your review of our products, services or activities.
You may request deletion of the personal data and review you have provided at any time by sending a withdrawal of consent to cocochoco.croatia@gmail.com. The data will be deleted from our records and will no longer be used for this purpose.
If you believe that your rights are not being respected, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency.
Common provisions
If you have given consent for only one purpose, your withdrawal must specify the purpose for which you request deletion of personal data from our records.
These provisions are aligned with the provisions of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation, Directive 95/46/EC).
These provisions form part of the General Terms and Conditions of Business, Sale and Delivery.
